Thank you to the author and BookSirens for allowing me to read and review this with an honest review.
The tale of Cinderella has been told many times throughout the years. Many renditions, twists and turns. From the classic of the damsel wishing to go the ball, to the fairy godmother granting said wish so long as everything is well and done by midnight.
As soon as I read the synopsis for this, I snatched it up right away and I’m so happy I did.
Dragon by Midnight is one that I don’t think I’ve ever seen where there are dragons involved, let alone Cinderella being the dragon. This is definitely a twist that I enjoyed as the story progressed fairly quickly and it was hard to put down. Sikandar, as a character, is very endearing.
To me, I definitely got Aladdin meets Cinderella vibes just by the exoticness of Sikandar’s home and being a sorcerer.
The only thing I wish for the story was it not to end. But I’m happy to learn it has another book coming.
Rating: 4 Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
